EXPORT
In April 2024, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to have decreased by 13.84 percent month to month (m-to-m), from US$ 55,325,701 in March 2024 to US$ 47,666,834 in April 2024. When compared with April 2023 or year on year (y-on-y), Bali's export value in April 2024 was recorded to have increased by 8.72 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in April 2024, the value of exports to Japan recorded the deepest decline, namely 39.89 percent (m-to-m). This decline was mainly due to the decline in exports of precious metal products and jewelry/gems (HS 71).
The cumulative export value in the January-April 2024 period was recorded at US$ 218,201,999, an increase of 16.51 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In contrast to exports, Bali Province's import performance in April 2024 showed an increase. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in April 2024 was recorded at US$ 12,469,825, an increase of 15.37 percent compared to March 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at US$ 10,808,558. On a year-on-year (y-on-y) basis, the import value of Bali Province in April 2024 was recorded to have increased by 24.73 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of import origin in April 2024, the value of imports from Vietnam recorded the highest increase month to month (m-to-m), namely 2,475.78 percent, which was mainly caused by the increase in imports of cereal products (HS 10).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-April 2024 period was recorded at US$ 53,833,935, an increase of 46.38 percent compared to the previous year's period.
