Export
In April 2022, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad recorded an increase of 16.91 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 51,884,694 in March 2022 to US$ 60,658,805 in April 2022. When compared to April 2021 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in April 2022 recorded an increase of 36.64 percent.
Of the top 5 export destinations for Bali in April 2022, the value of exports to Singapore recorded the highest increase month to month (70.15 percent). This increase was mainly due to an increase in exports of clothing and accessories (non-knitted) products (HS 62).
The cumulative export value in the January-April 2022 period was recorded at US$ 201,732,551, up 20.78 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
Import
Contrary to Bali's exports, Bali's import performance in April 2022 showed a decline. The value of imported goods from Bali Province from abroad in April 2022 was recorded at US$ 3,381,631, down 27.42 percent compared to March 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 4,659,238. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in April 2022 was recorded to have increased as high as 5.57 percent.
Of the top 5 import origin countries in April 2022, the value of imports from China recorded the most decline in month to month (-65.11 percent), which was mainly due to the decline in imports of plastic products and plastic goods (HS 39).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-April period was recorded at US$ 12,010,461, down 29.08 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
