EXPORT
In April 2021, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods to foreign countries decreased by 6.74 percent (mtm), from US$ 47,599,877 in March 2021 to US$ 44,393,681 in April 2021. When compared to April 2020 (yoy), Bali's export value in April 2021 was recorded to have increased by 68.47 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in April 2021, the value of exports to France was recorded to have fallen the most month to month by 33.00 percent. This decrease was mainly due to the decline in exports of non-knitted apparel products (HS 62).
The cumulative export value in the January-April 2021 period was recorded at US$ 167,019,058, down 0.49 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in April 2021 also showed a decline. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in April 2021 was recorded at US$ 3,203,068, down 39.49 percent compared to March 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 5,293,127. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in April 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 41.00 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in April 2021, the value of imports from China recorded the deepest decline of up to 71.02 percent month to month, the main thing being imports of machinery and mechanical equipment products (HS 84).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-April 2021 period was recorded at US$ 16,935,723, down 68.59 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
