EXPORT
In February 2024, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to have decreased by 24.76 percent month to month (m-t-m), from US$ 65,744,692 in January 2024 to US$ 49,464,773 in February 2024. When compared with February 2023 year on year (y-o-y), Bali's export value in February 2024 was recorded to have decreased by 0.28 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in February 2024, the value of exports to China was recorded to have decreased by 72.68 percent (m-t-m). This decline was mainly due to the decline in exports of fish, crustaceans and mollusk products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-February 2024 period was recorded at US$ 115,209,464, an increase of 25.84 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In contrast to exports, Bali Province's import performance in February 2024 showed an increase. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in February 2024 was recorded at US$ 19,750,223, an increase of 82.78 percent compared to January 2024 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 10,805,329. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in February 2024 was recorded to have increased by 138.37 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of import origin in February 2024, the value of imports from Thailand recorded the highest increase month to month, namely 3,690.52 percent, which was mainly caused by the increase in imports of cereal products (HS 10).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-February 2024 period was recorded at US$ 30,555,552, an increase of 87.23 percent compared to the previous year's period.
