Export
In February 2022, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad recorded an increase of 3.86 percent (mtm), from US$ 43,751,081 in January 2022 to US$ 45,437,971 in February 2022. When compared to February 2021 (yoy), Bali's export value in February 2022 was recorded to have increased by 14.32 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in February 2022, the value of exports to France recorded the highest increase on a month-to-month basis (16.15 percent). This increase was mainly due to an increase in exports of clothing and accessories (non-knitted) products (HS 62).
The cumulative export value in the January-February 2022 period was recorded at US$ 89,189,052, up 18.88 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
Import
Contrary to Bali's exports, the performance of Bali's imports in February 2022 showed a decline. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in February 2022 was recorded at US$ 1,858,602, down 11.96 percent compared to January 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 2,110,990. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in February 2022 was recorded to have decreased by 47.89 percent.
Of the top 5 import origin countries in February 2022, the value of imports from Singapore recorded an increase of up to thousands of percent month to month (2,284.69 percent), which was mainly due to the increase in imports of mineral fuels (HS 27).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-February period was recorded at US$ 3,969,592, down 52.96 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
