Abstract

In October 2017 in the city of Singaraja recorded deflation of 0.38 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 135.67. The calendar year inflation rate is 0.42 percent. Year-on-year inflation rate (YoY) of 1.85 percent.

Deflation was indicated by the decline of the index in the foodstuff group by 1.96 percent.

The recorded commodities contributed to deflation in October 2017, among others: cayenne pepper, rabbit, red onion, tempe, apple, wheat flour, squid, cucumber, tuna pindang, vegetable tomatoes, tuna / ambu-ambu, kites / bengkol, cooking oil, spinach and green mustard greens.
