Abstract

  • In March 2017 the city of Singaraja deflation of 0.20 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 138.32. The inflation rate of the calendar year (January to March) in 2017 amounted to 2.38 percent, and the inflation rate year on year (March 2017 to March 2016) amounted to 5.41 percent.
  • Deflation is characterized by a decrease in the index occurred in foodstuffs 1.12 percent; education, recreation and sport 0.07 percent as well as processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.06 percent. Meanwhile, four other groups experienced inflation, namely the clothing group of 0.57 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.44 percent; health group 0.32 percent and the transportation, communication and financial services 0.01 percent.
