EXPORT
In March 2024, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to increase by 11.85 percent month to month (m-to-m), from US$ 49,464,773 in February 2024 to US$ 55,325,701 in March 2024. When compared with March 2023 year on year (y-on-y), Bali's export value in March 2024 was recorded to have increased by 6.63 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in March 2024, the value of exports to the Netherlands was recorded to have increased by 67.64 percent (m-to-m). This increase was mainly due to the increase in exports of clothing products and accessories (not knitted) (HS 62).
The cumulative export value in the January-March 2024 period was recorded at US$ 170,535,165, an increase of 18.89 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In contrast to exports, Bali Province's import performance in March 2024 showed a decline. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in March 2024 was recorded at US$ 10,808,558, down 45.27 percent compared to February 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at US$ 19,750,223. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in March 2024 was recorded to have increased by 3.33 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of import origin in March 2024, the value of imports from the United States recorded the deepest decline month to month, namely 7.52 percent, which was mainly caused by the decline in imports of vehicle products and their parts (HS 87).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-March 2024 period was recorded at US$ 41,364,110, an increase of 54.46 percent compared to the previous year's period.
