EXPORT
In September 2021, the export value of Bali Province goods to foreign countries was recorded to have increased by 3.77 percent (mtm), from US$ 39,364,228 in August 2021 to US$ 40,850,026 in September 2021. When compared to September 2020 (yoy), Bali's export value in September 2021 also recorded an increase of 6.20 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in September 2021, the value of exports to China recorded the highest increase month to month up to 109.87 percent. This increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish, crustacean and mollusc products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-September 2021 period was recorded at US$ 358,334,407, up 7.95 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in September 2021 also showed an increase. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in September 2021 was recorded at US$ 2,411,831, up 20.54 percent compared to August 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 2,00786. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in September 2021 was recorded to have decreased by 38.87 percent.
Of the top 5 import origin countries in September 2021, the value of imports from the United States was recorded to have increased by hundreds of percent month to month (169.02 percent), which was mainly due to the increase in imports of machinery and mechanical equipment and parts thereof (HS 84).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-September 2021 period was recorded at US$ 28,037,784, down 60.77 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
