Abstract

EXPORT


After experiencing a decline in performance in August 2020, the value of Bali Province goods exports abroad in September 2020 was recorded to have increased as high as 13.78 percent (mtm), from US $ 33,807,208 in August 2020 to US $ 38,465,302 in the month September 2020. When compared to September 2019 (yoy), the export value of Bali in September 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -14.96 percent.


Cumulatively, the export value of goods from Bali Province for the January-September 2020 period was recorded at US $ 332,152,226, down -23.77 percent compared to the same period in 2019 which was recorded at US $ 435,732,787.


Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali, the export value to China was recorded to have the highest increase in September 2020 (m-t-m), which was as high as +62.50 percent. This increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish and shrimp products (HS 03).


IMPORT


The import performance of Bali Province in September 2020 showed an increase. The value of imported goods from Bali Province from abroad in September 2020 was recorded at US $ 3,945,173, an increase of +11.75 percent compared to August 2020 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US $ 3,530,390. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in September 2020 was recorded to have decreased by -82.99 percent.


Cumulatively, the import value in the January-September 2020 period was recorded at US $ 71,465,454, down -63.52 percent compared to the same period in 2019 of US $ 195,885,758.


Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports, the import value from Germany was recorded to have the highest increase, namely by +52.27 percent (m-t-m) which was mainly due to the increase in imports of jewelry / gem products (HS 71).
