EXPORT
In July 2021, the export value of Bali Province goods to overseas was recorded to have decreased by 19.86 percent (mtm), from US$ 39,173,657 in June 2021 to US$ 31,395,387 in July 2021. When compared to July 2020 (yoy), Bali's export value in July 2021 also recorded a decline of 7.64 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in July 2021, the value of exports to Australia decreased the most month to month by 41.22 percent. This decrease was mainly due to lower exports of non-knitted apparel products (HS 62), jewelry/gem products (HS 71), and fish and shrimp products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-July 2021 period was recorded at US$ 275,776,200, up 6.07 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in July 2021 also showed a decline. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in July 2021 was recorded at US$ 1,771,836, down 29.39 percent compared to June 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 2,509,323. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in July 2021 was also recorded to have decreased by 60.94 percent.
Of the top 5 import origin countries in July 2021, the value of imports from Germany recorded the deepest decline of up to 54.56 percent month to month, which was mainly due to the decline in imports of jewelry/gem products (HS 71).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-July 2021 period was recorded at US$ 23,625,167, down 63.08 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
