Abstract

The Bali Province NTP index in March 2021 was recorded at 91.46, down 1.08 percent compared to February 2021 which was recorded at 92.46. The index received by farmers (It) was recorded to have decreased by -0.16 percent, on the other hand, the index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.93 percent.


The decline in the NTP index in March 2021 was recorded in three sub-sectors, namely the food crops sub-sector (-2.69 percent), the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-2.49 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (-1.03 percent). On the other hand, the horticulture subsector and the livestock sub-sector were recorded to have increased by 0.68 percent and 0.55 percent, respectively.


The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in March 2021 fell by 0.24 percent from 92.71 in the previous month to 92.48.


Judging from the sub-sector, the NTUP Index in March 2021 was recorded to have decreased in three sub-sectors, namely the food crops sub-sector (-1.68 percent), the smallholder plantation sub-sector (-1.62 percent) and the fisheries sub-sector (-0.31 percent). On the other hand, the increase in NTUP was recorded in the horticulture sub-sector (1.41 percent) and the livestock sub-sector (1.25 percent).


In March 2021, Bali Province was recorded to experience rural inflation of 1.31 percent which is also the highest rural inflation nationally. This condition is in line with the national rural inflation record, which recorded inflation at 0.11 percent. On the other hand, the lowest inflation was recorded in Bengkulu Province at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the deepest deflation was recorded in the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam at 0.47 percent and the lowest in the province of East Nusa Tenggara with a deflation of 0.03 percent.
