Abstract

The Bali Province NTP index in January 2021 was recorded to have decreased from 93.56 in December 2020 to 93.09, or decreased by 0.51 percent. The index received by farmers (It) was recorded to have increased by 0.15 percent, and the index paid by farmers (Ib) was also recorded to have increased higher, namely 0.66 percent.


The decline in the NTP index in January 2021 was recorded in three sub-sectors, namely the horticulture sub-sector, which fell 2.08 percent, followed by the food crops sub-sector, which fell by 1.49 percent, and the fisheries sub-sector, which fell 1.29 percent. people and the livestock sub-sector were recorded to have increased by 1.39 percent and 0.19 percent respectively.


The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in January 2021 was recorded at 93.49, down by 0.32 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 93.80.


In terms of the sub-sector, the NTUP Index in January 2021 was recorded to have decreased in three sub-sectors, namely the horticulture sub-sector (down 1.93 percent), the food crops sub-sector (down 1.29 percent), and the fisheries sub-sector (down 1.12 percent). Meanwhile, the increase in NTUP was recorded in the smallholder plantation and livestock sub-sectors by 1.79 percent and 0.22 percent, respectively.


In January 2021, Bali Province recorded rural inflation of 0.72 percent. This condition is in line with the national rural inflation record which recorded an inflation of 0.44 percent. Of all observed provinces, the highest rural inflation was recorded in North Sulawesi with 1.78 percent and the lowest was in East Kalimantan, which recorded inflation at 0.01 percent. On the other hand, the deepest deflation was recorded in the DKI Jakarta Province at 0.33 percent
