Development of the Farmer Exchange Rate Index Bali Province in March 2019

The Farmers Exchange Rate Index (NTP) of Bali Province in March 2019 was recorded to increase by 0.15 percent, from 103.98 in February 2019, to 104.13. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), there was an increase of 0.68 percent while the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded to increase by 0.53 percent.

The increase in the NTP index in March 2019 was recorded in the smallholder and horticulture crops subsector, which was 1.86 percent and 1.13 percent respectively. Meanwhile, the food subsector and livestock sub-sector recorded a decline in the same value of -0.85 percent, while the fisheries subsector fell by -0.09 percent.

In March 2019, Bali Province experienced rural inflation of 0.72 percent. While nationally, rural inflation was recorded at 0.33 percent.
