Abstract
The Farmers Exchange Rate Index (NTP) of Bali Province in February 2019 was recorded to increase by 0.32 percent, from 103.65 percent in January 2019, to 103.98 percent. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), there was a decrease of -0.21 percent and the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded to fall even further by -0.52 percent.
The increase in the NTP index in February 2019 was recorded in all subsectors with the highest increase in the food crop sub-sector recorded at 0.90 percent, followed by the fisheries sub-sector by 0.52 percent, subsector of smallholder plantations 0.38 percent, livestock by 0.05 percent, and horticulture crops sub-sector by 0.03 percent.
In February 2019, Bali Province experienced rural deflation of -0.91 percent. While nationally, rural deflation was recorded at -0.29 percent.
Of the 33 rural inflation observation provinces in February 2019, 26 provinces experienced deflation and 7 provinces recorded inflation. The deepest deflation is recorded in Bali Province (-0.91 percent) and is undermined in Gorontalo Province (-0.04 percent). Meanwhile, the highest inflation was recorded in East Nusa Tenggara Province (0.48 percent), and the lowest was recorded
in Central Sulawesi Province (0.002 percent).
