Abstract
The economic conditions of the Balinese in meeting their consumption needs in the second quarter of 2019 were generally perceived as improving compared to those felt in the previous quarter. This situation is reflected in the magnitude of the Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) recorded at 113.72.
The level of "comfort" of consumers in the second quarter of 2019, recorded an increase of 3.67 points from the achievements of the previous quarter when it was recorded at 110.05.
The increase in the achievements of ITK Bali in the second quarter of 2019 is reflected in the achievements of the three constituent components which have all reached the level of "comfort". The "Current Income" component reached an index of 109.53, the "Consumption Volume" component recorded an index of 116.95 and the "Influence of Inflation" component registered an index of 119.05. All three are in the index achievement of more than 100, which can be considered as a limit of "comfortable" perception.
Imagining the coming period (quarter III 2019) the Balinese people perceive that efforts to fulfill their consumption will still be in the comfort zone, with the upcoming ITK of 103.81.
