Abstract

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) is an indicator of economic development of the latest consumer generated through the Central Bureau of Statistics Consumer Tendency Survey (STK). CTI is an index measuring the economic condition of consumers in the quarter and next quarter estimates. ITK is based on several components related to household economic income, the effect of inflation / price increases on consumption capabilities and the level of consumption of goods and services during the quarter in question. The resulting index value is in the range of 0 to 200, where the value
more than 100 reflects the improved economic conditions of consumers and vice versa.
The number of samples STK Bali in the first quarter of 2016 as many as 380 households spread across 5 districts / towns, namely Tabanan, Badung, Klungkung, Buleleng and Denpasar. Respondents STK start in 2015 been at the census block level medium and high categories based "wealth index" and a sub-sample of the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) especially in urban areas.
