Consumer Tendency Index Quarter III - 2019

The economic conditions of the Balinese in meeting their consumption needs in the third quarter of 2019 are generally perceived to be better compared to the previous quarter. This situation is reflected in the magnitude of the Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) recorded at 111.91 (values ​​above 100).

The level of "comfort" of consumers in the third quarter of 2019, was recorded down as deep as -1.81 points from the achievements of the previous quarter which was recorded at 113.72.

The achievements of ITK Bali in the third quarter of 2019 are supported by the achievements of the three constituent components which are all at a "comfortable" level (values ​​above 100). The "Current Income" component reached an index of 106.42, the "Consumption Volume" component recorded an index of 112.74 and the "Inflation Effect" component registered an index of 121.57.

Imagining the coming period (quarter IV 2019), the Balinese perceive that their economic conditions in the effort to fulfill their consumption are still in the comfort zone. Future ITKs are 101.74.

Future income levels are expected to be at 110.18. The planned purchase of durable goods is expected to be pessimistic with an index of 86.95.
