Abstract
The Farmers Exchange Rate Index (NTP) of Bali Province in June 2019 was recorded to increase by 0.20 percent, from 103.37 in May 2019, to 103.58. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), there was a very slight decrease of -0.001 percent while the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded to fall deeper, namely -0.20 percent.
According to the sub-sector, the increase in the NTP index in June 2019 was recorded in the three sub-sectors, namely the plantation plantation sub-sector 2.75 percent, followed by the food crop sub-sector 0.91 percent and the fisheries sub-sector by 0.55 percent. Meanwhile, the horticulture and livestock subsector recorded a decrease of -1.58 percent and -0.51 percent respectively.
In the calculation of the consumer price index (inflation) in rural areas, in June 2019, Bali Province recorded a deflation as deep as -0.28 percent, different from the national conditions which recorded rural inflation as high as 0.57 percent.
Of the 33 observing provinces, the calculation of household (rural) household consumption index in June 2019, there were 30 provinces experiencing inflation and only 3 provinces recorded experiencing deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in West Sumatra Province, at 1.81 percent, and the lowest was recorded in West Kalimantan Province at 0.07 percent. Meanwhile, the provinces of Bali, NTT and North Sulawesi recorded deflation of -0.28 percent, -0.08 percent and -0.002 percent respectively.
