Abstract

The Farmers Exchange Rate Index (NTP) of Bali Province in April 2019 was recorded to decrease by -0.66 percent, from 104.13 in April 2019, to 103.45. In terms of the index received by farmers (It), there was a decrease of -0.08 percent while the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded to increase by 0.58 percent.
The decline in the NTP index in April 2019 was recorded in almost all sub-sectors. The subsector recorded a decline in the deepest NTP index, namely the food crop sub-sector by -1.43 percent, followed by people's plantation crops -1.15 percent, livestock -0.90 percent, and fisheries -0.48 percent. In contrast, the horticulture sub-sector recorded an increase of 0.89 percent.
In April 2019, Bali Province experienced rural inflation of 0.84 percent. While nationally, rural inflation was recorded at 0.81 percent.
Of the 33 rural inflation observation provinces in April 2019, there were 30 provinces experiencing inflation and only 3 provinces recorded experiencing deflation. The highest inflation was recorded in the Province of D.I Yogyakarta reaching 1.52 percent, and the lowest recorded in North Maluku Province was 0.13 percent. Meanwhile, Riau Islands, DKI Jakarta and Banten provinces experienced deflation of -0.22 percent, -0.04 percent and -0.03 percent respectively.
