The number of international airplane departures from Ngurah Rai Airport in October 2017 reached 2,976 flight units. This number increased 2.23 percent compared to the previous month which reached 2911 units. The number of international flight passengers in the same period decreased by 10.66 percent, from 552,726 people in September 2017 to 493,793 in October 2017. In line with airplane passengers, the number of luggage and international air freight also decreased 10.68 percent, from 9.97 million tons to 8.90 million tons.
For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from Ngurah Rai Airport in October 2017 was 3,600 units of flight, or down 1.37 percent compared to the previous month state which reached 3,650 flight units. The number of passengers declined by 9.30 percent, reaching 413,857 people compared to the previous month which reached 456,286 people. The number of baggage and goods also decreased by 12.63 percent from 5.25 million tons in September 2017 to 4.59 million tons in October 2017.
