The Bali Farmer Exchange Rate Index (NTP) of Bali Province in December 2017 recorded a decline of 0.56 percent, from 104.51 in November 2017, to 103.93. In terms of index received by farmers (It), recorded an increase of 0.07 percent, from 130.55 to 130.64. Meanwhile, in terms of index paid by farmers (Ib), recorded an increase of 0.63 percent, from 124.91 to 125.70 points.
In December 2017, only five sub-sectors of NTP of Food Crops increased by 0.40 percent. Meanwhile, other subsectors recorded a decline, namely Horticulture fell 0.85 percent, Smallholder Plantation fell 1.61 percent, Livestock fell 0.24 percent, and Fisheries fell by 0.27 percent.
In December 2017, Bali Province experienced a 0.95 percent inflation in rural areas, which is still dominantly affected by inflation in the foodstuffs group. Meanwhile, nationally recorded rural inflation of 1.04 percent.
