Abstract


  • In April 2017 Singaraja experienced deflation of 1.08 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 136.83. The inflation rate for calendar year (January - April) 2017 is 1.28 percent, and the year-on-year inflation rate (April 2017 to April 2016) is 4.34 percent.
  • Deflation was marked by a decrease in index occurring in the foodstuffs group of 4.60 percent; Education, recreation and sports 0.06 percent and food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.03 percent. While the other four groups experienced inflation, namely: health group 1.57 percent; Clothing group 1.19 percent; Housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.55 percent; And transportation, communication and financial services group 0.27 percent.
