Abstract

In February 2017 Singaraja City experienced inflation of 0.79 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 138.60. The inflation rate of the calendar year (January-February) in 2017 amounted to 2.59 percent, and the inflation rate year-on-year (February 2017 to February 2016) amounted to 6.48 percent.
Inflation is characterized by an increase in the index occurred in transport, communication and financial services 1.21 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 1.18 percent; foodstuffs 1.00 percent; clothing group of 0.43 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.36 percent; health group 0.32 percent. As for education, recreation and sports deflation of 0.04 percent.
