Abstract

  • In January 2017 in the city of Singaraja experienced inflation of 1.79 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 137.52. The inflation rate in January 2017 calendar year amounted to 1.79 percent and the inflation rate year-on-year (January 2017 to January 2016) 5.36 percent.
  • Inflation in January 2017 in the city of Singaraja caused by price increases shown by the increase in the index in six groups of expenditure, namely the expenditure for transport, communication and financial services 3.63 percent; foodstuffs 3.50 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 1.24 percent; clothing group 0.32 per cent; health group 0.26 per cent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.24 percent. While education expenditure groups, recreation and sport does not change the index.
