Abstract

There was increase in the percentage of poor people in Bali in September 2015 when compared to March 2015. The poverty rate in September 2015 reached 5.25 percent, up 0.51 percent compared to the conditions in March 2015, which reached 4.74 percent.
The number of poor people in September 2015 to reach 218.79 thousand people, with the composition of 115.80 thousand people in urban areas and 102.99 thousand of people in rural areas.
Poverty line Bali in September 2015 increased by 2.86 percent, from Rp 321.834 in March 2015 to Rp 331.028 in September 2015.
The poverty line in both urban and rural areas alike has increased. Urban areas has increased the poverty line of 2.57 percent, while in rural areas increased by 3.36 percent.
