Abstract

The percentage of the poor population in Bali Province in September 2024 was recorded at 3.80 percent, a decrease of 0.20 percentage points compared to March 2024 and a decrease of 0.45 percentage points compared to March 2023.
The number of poor people in Bali Province in September 2024 was recorded at 176.21 thousand people, a decrease of 8.22 thousand compared to March 2024 and a decrease of 17.57 thousand compared to March 2023.
The percentage of the poor population in urban areas in September 2024 was recorded at 3.32 percent, a decrease of 0.23 percentage points compared to March 2024, which was recorded at 3.55 percent. Meanwhile, the percentage of the poor population in rural areas in September 2024 was recorded at 5.11 percent, a decrease of 0.09 percentage points compared to March 2024, which was recorded at 5.20 percent.
The number of poor people in urban areas in September 2024 decreased by 6.38 thousand compared to March 2024 (from 119.31 thousand people in March 2024 to 112.93 thousand people in September 2024). Over the same period, the number of poor people in rural areas decreased by 1.83 thousand (from 65.12 thousand people in March 2024 to 63.29 thousand people in September 2024).
The Poverty Line in Bali Province in September 2024 was recorded at IDR 580,306 per capita per month, with the composition of the Food Poverty Line at IDR 399,291 per capita per month (68.81 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line at IDR 181,015 per capita per month (31.19 percent).
In September 2024, the average poor household in Bali Province consisted of 4.21 household members. Thus, the average Poverty Line per household was IDR 2,443,088 per poor household per month.
