Data Collaboration for a More Advanced Bali

On Monday, September 22, 2025, the Bali Provincial Statistics Office (BPS) held an audience with the Rector of Udayana University. This meeting marked an important moment to strengthen synergy between the statistical agency, academia, and local government.

In a spirited discussion, various collaboration opportunities were explored, ranging from data utilization for research and community service, the development of a Statistics Corner, teaching practitioner programs, to internship opportunities for students at BPS. Udayana University also encouraged the establishment of new study programs such as actuarial science and appreciated the role of data in supporting evidence-based policymaking.

BPS Bali and Udayana University are ready to move forward together to realize a more inclusive, competitive, and data-driven development for Bali.
