The Bali Provincial Statistics Agency (BPS) received a visit and guidance from the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) as part of monitoring the indicators used to compile the Bali Provincial Pancasila Actualization Index. This event served as an important opportunity to strengthen inter-agency collaboration in producing index measurements that are more targeted and aligned with local conditions (April 9).
The event was attended by the Director of Pancasila Institutionalization Measurement at BPIP, Hotrun Siregar, and the Head of the Bali Provincial BPS, Agus Gede Hendrayana Hermawan. The presence of these two leaders demonstrated a shared commitment to supporting the development of indicators capable of reflecting the implementation of Pancasila values at the regional level.
The discussion focused on various socio-cultural characteristics of Bali that possess unique traits, such as the punia tradition, cross-regional mutual aid (gotong royong), and forms of community social participation that are not always reflected in conventional measurement approaches. Through this forum, it is hoped that the concepts and definitions of the indicators can be further refined so that the measurement results can represent the practice of Pancasila values in Balinese society in a more comprehensive, accurate, and meaningful way.
