Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

The Bali Province NTP Index in October 2022 was recorded at 95.88 or down -0.54 percent compared to the previous month. The decrease in the NTP index was caused by the Price Received by Farmers Index (It) which fell by -0.53 percent, while the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) increased by 0.01 percent.

Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 107.27 or up 0.42 percent compared to the previous month. In October 2022, the Bengkulu Province NTP Index recorded the highest increase in NTP, at 3.92 percent. On the other hand, the NTP of North Sulawesi Province experienced the deepest decline, by -1.80 percent.

The Bali Province Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in October 2022 was 113.14 or decreased by -0.12 percent compared to the previous month.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Bali Province in October 2022 was 95.97 or decreased by -0.79 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
