Export
In August 2022, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad recorded an increase of 1.39 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 50,104,840 in July 2022 to US$ 50,800,636 in August 2022. When compared to August 2021 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in August 2022 recorded an increase of 29.31 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in August 2022, the value of exports to Japan recorded the highest increase month to month (21.98 percent). This increase was mainly due to increased exports of fish, crustacean and mollusc products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-August 2022 period was recorded at US$ 400,327,850, up 26.16 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
Import
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of Bali Province in August 2022 also showed an increase. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in August 2022 was recorded at US$ 8,642,616, up 3.30 percent compared to July 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 8,366,211. On a year on year basis, the import value of Bali Province in August 2022 was recorded to increase as high as 331.96 percent.
Of the top 5 import origin countries in August 2022, the value of imports from China recorded the highest increase on a month-to-month basis (42.38 percent), which was mainly due to increased imports of watches and watches and their parts (HS 91).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-August 2022 period was recorded at US$ 45,848,385, up 78.91 percent compared to the previous year period.
