Bali's total economy in the second quarter of 2022 as measured by GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) at current prices (ADHB) was recorded at Rp 60.65 trillion. Or if measured on the basis of constant prices (ADHK) in 2010, Bali's GRDP was recorded at Rp 37.94 trillion.
With this amount, Bali's economy in the second quarter of 2022 recorded a growth of 7.38 percent compared to the achievement of the first quarter of 2022 (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was recorded in Category O (Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security) business fields of 40.39 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth was recorded in the Foreign Import Component, which was 392.56 percent.
Meanwhile, when compared to the same period the previous year (y-on-y), Bali's economy grew by 3.04 percent in the second quarter of 2022. In terms of production, the highest growth was recorded in Category D (Electricity and Gas Procurement) business fields of 15.40 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth was recorded in the Foreign Import Component, which amounted to 556.67 percent.
If the accumulated growth in the first quarter of 2022 to the second quarter of 2022, then the Balinese economy in the first semester of 2022 recorded a growth of 2.27 percent (c-to-c).
Bali's economic structure in terms of production, in the second quarter of 2022 was still dominated by Category I (Provision of Accommodation and Food and Drink) which recorded a contribution of 17.64 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the largest contribution was recorded in the Household Consumption Component, which was 54.68 percent.
