Bali's economy in the second quarter of 2024, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices (ADHB), was recorded at IDR 74.77 trillion and at constant prices (ADHK 2010=100) at IDR 42.24 trillion.
Bali's economy during the second quarter of 2024 grew by 6.34 percent compared to the first quarter of 2024 (q-to-q). Judging from the production side, the highest growth was recorded by the Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security Business Field at 22.18 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-P) grew by 66.94 percent.
When compared with the same period the previous year (y-on-y), Bali's economy in the second quarter of 2024 grew by 5.36 percent. Examined from the production side, the highest growth was recorded in the Financial Services and Insurance Business Field at 19.38 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Foreign Export Component grew by 17.42 percent.
If the growth from quarter I-2024 to quarter II-2024 is accumulated, then the Bali economy in semester I-2024 grew by 5.66 percent (c-to-c).
Bali's economic structure in terms of production, in the second quarter of 2024 is still dominated by the Accommodation and Food and Drink Providing Business Field which contributes 21.17 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the largest contribution was recorded in the Household Consumption Component, namely 52.14 percent.
