Abstract

Foreign tourists (tourists) who came directly to Bali Province in May 2021 were recorded as 8 visits, down 77.78 percent compared to May 2020 which recorded 36 visits.

When compared to April 2021 (m-t-m), the number of foreign tourists to Bali was recorded to have decreased by 11.11 percent, from 9 visits in April 2021 to 8 visits in May 2021.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in May 2021 was recorded at 10.35 percent, an increase of 0.26 points compared to the TPK in April 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at 10.09 percent. When compared to May 2020 (y-o-y) which reached 2.07 percent, the room occupancy rate in May 2021 recorded an increase of 8.28 points. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 5.29 percent, down 0.36 points compared to April 2021.

The average length of stay of foreign and domestic guests at five-star hotels in Bali in May 2021 was recorded at 2.02 days, down 0.13 points compared to April 2021 (m-t-m) which was recorded at 2.15 days. When compared with the achievement in May 2020 (y-o-y) which was recorded at 2.22 days, this figure experienced a decrease of 0.20 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in May 2021 was recorded at 1.51 days, down 0.03 points compared to April 2021 which was recorded at 1.54 days.
