Bali Province Tourism Development May 2020

Foreign tourists (tourists) who came directly to the Province of Bali in May 2020 were recorded as many as 36 visits. Those who came through I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport were 34 visits and those who went through the sea port were 2 visits.

The number of foreign tourists to Bali in May 2020 fell as deep as -88.99 percent compared to the April 2020 record (m to m). When compared to May 2019 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali was recorded to have fallen by almost 100 percent (-99.99 percent).

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in May 2020 was recorded at 2.07 percent, down as deep as -1.15 points compared to the TPK of the previous month (m to m) which was recorded at 3.22 percent. When compared to May 2019 (y on y) which reached 51.56 percent, the room occupancy rate in May 2020, was recorded as deep as -49.49 points.

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star hotels in Bali in May 2020 was recorded at 2.22 days, down -0.27 points compared to the average length of stay of guests in April 2020 (m to m) recorded during 2.49 days. When compared to May 2019 (y on y) recorded for 2.90 days, the average length of stay in May 2020 fell as deep as -0.68 points.
