Abstract

Bali Province NTP Index in February 2020 rose as high as 0.37 percent, from 96.27 in January 2020 to 96.63. In terms of the index received by farmers (IT) recorded rose as high as 1.17 percent, higher than the increase in the index paid by farmers (Ib) which rose as high as 0.80 percent.


In terms of its subsectors, three subsectors recorded an increase in the FTT index, namely the food crops sub-sector, the horticulture sub-sector and the plantation estate subsector with increases of as high as 0.45 percent, 1.28 percent and 0.76 percent, respectively. While for the livestock and fisheries sub-sector, it was recorded to fall by -0.33 percent and -1.12 percent respectively.


The Bali Province Agriculture Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in February 2020 was 97.70, up as high as 0.96 percent compared to the previous month which was 96.77.


Viewed from the subsector, the highest increase in the NTUP index was recorded in the horticulture subsector, which was 2.20 percent, followed by the smallholder estate crops subsector which rose as high as 1.35 percent, the food crops subsector rose as high as 0.92 percent and the livestock subsector which rose as high as 0.25 percent. On the other hand, the NTUP index of the fisheries subsector was recorded down as deep as -0.53 percent.


In February 2020, the Province of Bali recorded inflation as high as 1.08 percent, in line with the movement of rural inflation nationally which also recorded inflation, as high as 0.48 percent. The highest inflation was recorded in Maluku Province (1.30 percent) and the lowest in West Nusa Tenggara Province (0.13 percent). Meanwhile, deflation was only recorded in Bangka Belitung Province (-0.17).
