Abstract
The Bali Province NTP Index was down as deep as -0.34 percent, from 96.60
in December 2019 to 96.27. From the index received by farmers (It) recorded an
increase of 0.58 percent while the index paid by farmers (Ib) is recorded increased
higher, ie 0.92 percent.
Judging from the subsectors, two subsectors are recorded experienced a
decline in the NTP index, which is the crop subsector food and plantations
subsector of smallholder plantations down by -0.55 percent and -3.13 percent
respectively. Meanwhile, the horticultural subsector NTP index rose
as high as 2.17 percent, followed by the fisheries subsector as high as 0.55
percent and the livestock subsector rose as high as 0.54 percent.
In calculating rural inflation, in January 2020, the Province of Bali recorded
inflation as high as 1.29 percent, in line with the movement of rural inflation
as a whole national inflation also recorded, as high as 0.88 percent.
Out of 34 provinces, there were 33 provinces experienced inflation and only
one province recorded experiencing deflation.
The highest inflation was recorded in Nanggroe Aceh Province Darussalam (1.48
percent) and the lowest in Papua Province West (0.39 percent). Meanwhile,
deflation was only recorded at Southeast Sulawesi Province (-0.003).
