September 2017, the number of domestic airplane departures rose 0.08 percent

Abstract

The number of international airplane departures from Ngurah Rai Airport in September 2017 reached 2,911 units of flight. This number has decreased 5.61 percent compared to the previous month which reached 3,084 units. The number of international flight passengers in the same period decreased by 10.91 percent, from 620,411 people in August 2017 to 552,726 people in September 2017. In line with the departure of aircraft, the number of luggage and international air freight also decreased 6.95 percent, from 10.7 million tons to 9.97 million tons.

For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from Ngurah Rai Airport in September 2017 was 3,650 flight units, or up 0.08 percent compared to the previous month's condition of 3,647 flight units. The number of passengers decreased by 9.84 percent, reaching 456,286 people compared to the previous month which reached 506,108 people. The number of baggage and goods also decreased by 11.40 percent from 5.93 million tons in August 2017 to 5.25 million tons in September 2017.
