Abstract

The Bali Farmers Exchange Rate Index (NTP) in September 2017 increased 0.49 percent from 103.94 in August 2017 to 104.45. In terms of index received by farmers (It), recorded an increase of 0.11 percent, from 129.41 to 129.55. Meanwhile, in terms of index paid by farmers (Ib), recorded a decrease of 0.38 percent, from 124.50 to 124.02
In September 2017, the NTP Index of Food Crops, Plantation and Fishery Crops increased by 1.78 percent, 1.01 percent and 0.50 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, the NTP Index of Horticulture and Livestock Subsectors recorded decrease of 0.36 percent and 0.07 percent respectively.
In September 2017, Bali Province experienced a 0.63 per cent deflation in rural areas, dominantly affected by deflation in foodstuffs and processed foods. Meanwhile, nationally recorded deflation of rural by 0,27 percent.
From 33 provinces surveyed rural inflation rate in September 2017, 28 provinces recorded deflation and 8 provinces recorded inflation.
