Abstract

In December 2016 in Denpasar an inflation of 0.69 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 123.10. The cumulative inflation rate (from January to December, 2016) and a year-on-year (YoY) at 2.94 percent.

Inflation occurs because of the increase in the price indicated by the rise in the index in five types of expenses, transport, communications, and financial services experienced inflation of 2.38 percent; foodstuff by 0.86 percent; health group 0.40 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0,35 per se; and housing, water, electricity, and gas by 0.12 percent. While the clothing group experienced deflation of 0.41 percent as well as education, recreation, and sport does not change the index / fixed.
