Abstract

In September 2016 in Denpasar an inflation of 0.26 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 122.15. The cumulative inflation rate (from January to September, 2016) of 2.15 percent and inflation year-on-year (September 2016 to September 2015) amounted to 2.95 per cent.
Inflation occurs because of the increase in the price indicated by the rise in the index in five types of expenses, the clothing group by 1.00 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.87 per cent; transport, communications, and financial services by 0.37 percent;
housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.22 percent; as well as the health group by 0.14 percent. While the group that deflation is the education, recreation and sport 0.25 percent and foodstuff by 0.21 percent.
The core components / core in September 2016 contributed to inflation by 0.12 percent; component prices regulated by the government / administrative contributed to inflation by 0.19 percent; while the components volatile / volatile contributed deflation of 0.05 percent.
