June 8, 2026 | BPS Activities
The 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) in Bali Province officially began with the first data collection session conducted with Bali Governor Wayan Koster on June 8. This event marked the start of the SE2026 data collection process across the entire province of Bali to comprehensively capture economic activities that form the foundation of regional and national development.
The data collection was carried out by census officers from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bali Province and was witnessed directly by the Head of the BPS of Bali Province, Agus Gede Hendrayana Hermawan. Agus Gede expressed his appreciation for the commitment and support of the Bali Provincial Government in ensuring the success of the SE2026. According to him, the success of the census depends not only on the readiness of the officers but also on the active participation of all business actors and support from various stakeholders. The direct involvement of the Governor of Bali as the first respondent is a tangible form of the Bali Provincial Government’s support for the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census.
