Labour Force Situation in Bali Province February 2025

Abstract

The number of the workforce in Bali in February 2025 was recorded at 2.74 million people, while the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) was recorded at 77.40%, an increase of 0.03 percentage points compared to the February 2024 period.
In February 2025, the number of working population was recorded at 2.69 million people, an increase of 31.22 thousand people compared to February 2024. The Transportation & Warehousing, Accommodation & Food and Beverage Provision, and Wholesale and Retail Trade sectors were the business sectors with the highest increase in labor absorption, recorded at around 7.93 thousand people, 7.83 thousand people, and 5.30 thousand people respectively.
The proportion of the population working in formal activities increased in the August 2024–February 2025 period, mainly driven by the increase in workers with laborer/employee/staff status.
The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) of Bali Province in February 2025 was recorded at 1.58%, down 0.21 percentage points compared to August 2024 and down 0.29 percentage points compared to February 2024.
