Abstract

Foreign tourists (wisman) who came directly to Bali Province in October 2024 were recorded at 559,911 visits, down 5.72 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 593,909 visits. Tourists from Australia dominated foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in October 2024 with a share of 25.25 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in October 2024 was recorded at 64.37 percent, down 1.97 points compared to September 2024 which was recorded at 66.34 percent. When compared to October 2023 (y-on-y) which reached 57.43 percent, the room occupancy rate in October 2024 was recorded to have increased by 6.94 points. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 43.94 percent, down 4.89 points compared to September 2024 which was recorded at 48.83 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign and domestic guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in October 2024 was recorded at 2.70 nights, down 0.09 points compared to September 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at 2.79 nights. When compared to October 2023 (y-on-y) which was recorded at 2.53 nights, the average length of stay in October 2024 increased by 0.17 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in October 2024 was recorded at 2.15 nights, down 0.28 points compared to the average length of stay in September 2024 which was recorded at 2.43 nights.
