EXPORT
In June 2024, the value of Bali Province's exports of goods abroad was recorded to have fallen 19.59 percent month to month (m-to-m), from US$ 58,838,969 in May 2024 to US$ 47,309,491 in June 2024. When compared with June 2023 year on year (y-on-y), Bali's export value in June 2024 was recorded to have decreased by 0.54 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in June 2024, the value of exports to Australia was recorded to have decreased by 53.71 percent (m-to-m). This decline was mainly due to the decline in exports of precious metal products and jewelry/gems (HS 71).
The cumulative export value in the January-June 2024 period was recorded at US$ 324,350,460, an increase of 14.04 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
IMPORT
In line with exports, Bali Province's import performance in June 2024 showed a decline. The value of Bali Province imports of goods from abroad in June 2024 was recorded at US$ 9,915,411, down 35.29 percent compared to May 2024 (m-to-m) which was recorded at US$ 15,321,977. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of Bali Province in June 2024 was recorded to have increased by 2.10 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of import origin in June 2024, the value of imports from China recorded the deepest decline month to month, namely 47.05 percent, which was mainly caused by the decline in imports of machinery and mechanical equipment products and their parts (HS 84).
Cumulatively, the import value in the January-June 2024 period was recorded at US$ 79,071,323, an increase of 35.34 percent compared to the previous year's period.
