Bali Province Tourism Development September 2023

There were 508,350 foreign tourists coming directly to Bali Province in September 2023, down 2.64 percent compared to the previous month when there were 522,141 visits. Tourists from Australia dominate foreign tourist arrivals to Bali in September 2023 with a share of 25.40 percent.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in September 2023 was recorded at 59.25 percent, a decrease of 1.39 points compared to August 2023 which was recorded at 60.64 percent. When compared with September 2022 (y-o-y) which reached 46.45 percent, the room occupancy rate in September 2023 was recorded to have increased by 12.80 points. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels was recorded at 37.87 percent, down 1.99 points compared to August 2023 which was recorded at 39.86 percent.

The average length of stay for foreign and domestic guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in September 2023 was recorded at 2.51 days, down 0.04 points compared to the achievement in August 2023 (m-t-m) which was recorded at 2.55 days. When compared with the achievement in September 2022 (y-o-y) which was recorded at 2.36 days, the average length of stay in September 2023 increased by 0.15 points. Meanwhile, for non-star hotels, the average length of stay in September 2023 was recorded at 2.17 days, down 0.05 points compared to the average length of stay in August 2023 which was recorded at 2.22 days.
