Abstract

The paddy harvested area in 2022 will reach around 112,321 hectares, an increase of 7,119 hectares or 6.77 percent compared to the paddy harvested area in 2021 which amounted to 105,201 hectares.

Paddy production in 2022 is 680,602 tons of GKG, an increase of 61,691 tons or 9.97 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 618,911 tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2022 for food consumption for the population will reach 383,829 tons, an increase of 34,791 tons or 9.97 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 349,038 tons.
