Export
In January 2023, the value of exports of goods for the Province of Bali abroad was recorded to have decreased by 25.31 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 56,165,313 in December 2022 to US$ 41,949,311 in January 2023. When compared to January 2022 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in January 2023 was recorded to have decreased by 4.12 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in January 2023, the value of exports to Singapore fell the most on a month-to-month basis (-43.57 percent). This decrease was mainly due to a decrease in exports of clothing and accessories (non-knitted) products (HS 62). Meanwhile, exports to France recorded an increase of as high as 21.76 percent, which was due to an increase in exports of clothing and accessories (non-knitted) products (HS 62).
Import
In line with Bali's exports, the import performance of the Province of Bali in January 2023 also showed a decline. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in January 2023 was recorded at US$ 8,034,418, down 1.78 percent compared to December 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 8,180,356. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of the Province of Bali in January 2023 was recorded to have increased as high as 280.60 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in January 2023, the value of imports from Australia was recorded to have decreased the most on a month to month basis (-51.75 percent), which was mainly caused by a decrease in imports of machine and mechanical equipment products and their parts (HS 84).
