Export
In December 2022, the value of exports of goods for the Province of Bali abroad was recorded to have increased by 6.52 percent (m-t-m), from US$ 52,729,107 in November 2022 to US$ 56,165,313 in December 2022. When compared to December 2021 (y-o-y), Bali's export value in December 2022 was recorded to have increased by 8.45 percent.
Of the top 5 export destination countries for Bali in December 2022, the value of exports to China recorded the highest increase month to month (232.87 percent). This increase was primarily due to increased exports of fish, crustacean and mollusk products (HS 03).
The cumulative export value in the January-December 2022 period was recorded at US$ 617,515,355, up 21.52 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.
Import
Contrary to Bali's exports, the import performance of the Province of Bali in December 2022 actually showed a decline. The import value of Bali Province goods from abroad in December 2022 was recorded at US$ 8,180,356, down 3.92 percent compared to November 2022 (m-t-m) which was recorded at US$ 8,513,774. On a year-on-year basis, the import value of the Province of Bali in December 2022 was recorded to have increased as high as 176.93 percent.
Of the top 5 countries of origin for imports in December 2022, the value of imports from Hong Kong was recorded to have decreased the most on a month-to-month basis (-36.48 percent), which was mainly caused by a decrease in imports of watch and watch products and their parts (HS 91).
Cumulatively, the value of imports in the January-December 2022 period was recorded at US$ 82,697,940, up 130.27 percent compared to the previous year's period.
