Development of the Bali Province Farmer's Exchange Rate Index March 2022

Farmer's Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The Bali Province NTP index in March 2022 was 94.44, up 0.12 percent compared to the previous month. The increase in the NTP index was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which rose as high as 0.86 percent, higher than the increase in the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) as high as 0.74 percent.

Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 109.29, up 0.42 percent compared to the previous month. In March 2022, the Riau Province's NTP Index recorded the highest increase, which was 3.56 percent. In contrast, the province with the deepest decline in the FTT index occurred in Banten Province, with a decline of 1.70 percent.

Judging from the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of the Province of Bali, in March 2022 there was an increase of 1.02 percent.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Province of Bali in March 2022 was 94.20, an increase of 0.69 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
